The Great Minnesota Get-Together opens two days before the wedding and runs through Labor Day. It’s an ideal Thursday, Friday, Sunday or Monday outing for out-of-town guests who want the full Minnesota experience.

Where should out-of-town guests stay?

We have a wedding room block at the Best Western Plus White Bear Country Inn, which is also the reception location. Please reserve by July 26, 2027. Call 651-429-5393 and mention the August 28, 2027 wedding room block, or visit the Travel section above for the hotel reservation page.

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Yes. Trellis Weddings and Events is a garden venue, so the ceremony is planned outdoors, weather permitting. A light layer is a good idea for a late-August Minnesota evening.

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones, but we’re keeping our celebration adults-only so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

What should I wear?

Garden formal. Think polished cocktail or semi-formal attire with outdoor-friendly footwear. Our wedding palette is garnet, teal, blue topaz, and gray.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation and RSVP form will note exactly who is included in your party. If anything is unclear, please reach out to Kimberly or Stephen.
